Summing up life through Art

A brief conversation with Peeyush Chauhan

Art gives the vision to see what lies beyond the horizon of dream and reality. Peeyush Chauhan, an actor and model hailing from Shimla, says that the world of acting has provided him that space from where he has started understanding life from a different perspective.

Peeyush has completed his graduation from Shimla. It was during this period that he started doing theatre with Storm Rider Group. He has done street plays with TVR group. He has also played small roles in movies likes Janooniyat and Yeh Dil Jo Keh na Sake. Due to lack of opportunities in Shimla, he shifted to Mumbai in 2017. He worked in an advertisement of Solo Stationary which was his first international ad. He struggled for a year but did not get any opportunity, only to get it in the year 2018 with a video shoot. After that he stated doing print shoots and modelling, and also did Mumbai fashion week. To enhance his acting skills, he again joined theatre with Five Senses Group.

Peeyush has done Apollo Web series, an ad with Manyavar, and multiple videos for digital platforms.

Peeyush has also performed in a song named “Banno re Banno” with Sony Music and digital web series with RVCJ.

Recenty he has done two videos with NFX – “Daru 2 peg” and “ched ka chakkar”.

Recently Peeyush has been given the opportunity to work in a serial on Sab TV named Kaatelal and Sons where Peeyush is playing the character role of Lucky.

With acting, he is interested in space and fitness.

For him acting is something that helps him to understand each and every emotion of a human being, “acting is something that completes me. It is not just an art form; it sums up my life.”

Peeyush says that his journey has been full of ups and downs, but everything has helped him to perceive things in a better way.
