Why Gender Studies Should be Included in the School Curriculum
In contemporary times, gender has become one of the most debated and least understood topics by the masses. One of the most important reasons behind this taboo is our education system. Gender doesn’t form a part of our school education and if in case it does, then it’s not taught in the right way. They encounter violence while begging on the streets or working in households where sex work is carried out. It is crucial to address gender-based violence to prevent it in the future and to empower those who face abuse based on their gender.
