Paneer ke Pakodey
INGREDIENTS
- Cheese (Paneer) – 200 grams
- Gram flour (Besan) – 6 tsp
- Red chili powder- a pinch
- Salt- ½ tsp
- Kasoori Methi Powder- 1 tsp
- Ginger- ½ tsp grated
- Onion- 1 small
RECIPE
Put gram flour into a bowl. Add water slowly and mix it well with the help of a spoon, though you should always use your hand to mix gram floor and water while you are making pakodas. Add red chili, salt, kasoori methi powder, grated ginger and grated onion to the mixture. Mix well all the ingredients. The mixture should not be too liquid, or too thick.
Add oil to a pan and heat it on high flame. Cut cheese into flat rectangular slices and add them to the mixture. Coat each piece of cheese well with the mixture and put it into the pan. Fry till it turns brown in color.
Serve hot with chattani or tomato sauce.
